Call for Posters & Demos
We solicit the submission of extended abstracts describing either a poster or a demo contribution.The topics of interest for this type of contributions are the same indicated on the Call for Papers.
Submissions must be prepared using this Springer template (please use the two-column variant). Springer encourages submissions to be prepared using this Latex template. Submissions prepared in Word can also accepted. However, Springer does not provide any standard Word template and submissions prepared in Word might require extra effort during the publication process. We thus also discourage the use of Word for preparing manuscripts. If you need to write your article in Word, please contact Ms. Anselma Wörner for further information.
The extended abstract should be max. 2 pages long (including all figures and references). For demos, please include a third page describing your requirements (e.g., table, power outlet, possible space and lighting needs, wish to display a poster alongside the demo, etc.). The title of the extended abstracts should be prefixed with “Poster Abstract:†or “Demo Abstract:â€.
Extended abstracts should be submitted as PDF files (with all fonts embedded) to the Energy Informatics 2017 Posters and Demos EasyChair submission site.
Submitted extended abstracts will be reviewed in a single-blind process. Accepted posters and demos will receive dedicated slots for presentation at the conference. Accepted and presented extended abstracts will be published in the Springer Journal “Computer Science – Research and Development (CSRD)†(http://www.springer.com/computer/journal/450).

Presentation of Posters & Demos at the conference
The authors of accepted extended abstracts will be invited to present their work at the conference. Extended abtsrcts that will not be presented at the conference will be removed from the proceedings.
Poster authors should bring with them a printed copy of their poster in format A0 (recommended) or A1. Poster boards will be made available by the organizers.
Demo authors will also be given the possibility to display a poster describing their demo. Demo authors will also be provided with a table and 2 power plugs. Demo authors that need more/different materials or have specific requests should please contact the Local Arrangement Chair of the conference, Mrs. Elena Di Lascio.
